Ying Yu researches Consumer Protection Policy and Law from the international comparative perspectives. She is a Research Fellow of Wolfson College and an Associate of the University of Oxford China Centre; Coordinator of the FLJS Consumer Rights in China Programme; and the Research Coordinator of the RP (Research Partnership Platform) Project of Best Practices of Consumer Redress for UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development), Geneva.
Ying is a Committee Member of the ILA (International Law Association) Consumer Protection Committee, and represents ILA as the Observer of the revision works on UNGCP (UN Guidelines for Consumer Protection) at UNCTAD.
Ying has been appointed International Expert (2014/2015) of EUCTP (EU China Trade Programme). She was the founder of the Centre for the Policy and Law on Global Consumer Protection which is the unique international institute for consumer law in China.
