US Army Judge Advocate on Supreme Court Guantanamo ruling

18 June 2008

In the light of last week's historic Supreme Court ruling on habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees, the former US Army Judge Advocate David Graham responds with an Op-Ed to complement his recently published policy brief on the subject.

The issue has already become a key skirmish in the presidential race, with John McCain condemning the ruling as “one of the worst decisions in the history of this country”, while Barack Obama praised the court’s decision as a return to the rule of law.

The policy brief can be downloaded from the download box on the right.
