The Politics of West Papua: Research and Policy

 

Against the background of an ongoing conflict for independence from Indonesia, West Papua has experienced decades of violence and underdevelopment. This roundtable brings together leading researchers and policymakers to discuss the underlying sources of these problems.

 

The event will begin with presentations on various aspects of the politics of West Papua, followed by open discussion of future opportunities for collaborative research and impact.
