The Court of Public Opinion: Justice, the Media and Popular Will

This workshop investigates how the mass media shapes public opinion, and how this impacts on the opinion of judges and politicians.

Judges, academics, journalists and policymakers convened to discuss topical questions raised by the interaction between the media, courts, and politicians, including the ongoing debate over superinjunctions and the fallout from the phone hacking scandal.
