Applications are now open for the FLJS summer school, which will take place in Oxford from 28 June-10 July 2009. The two-week course will examine the nature of law, its social character, and its relationship to other aspects of society.
There are two scholarships available for undergraduate students based in the United Kingdom, which will be awarded on the basis of an open essay competition. Applicants should submit an essay of no more than 1,500 words in response to the following question:
âShould the United Kingdom adopt a constitutionally entrenched Bill of Rights?â
Applicants should submit their essay together with a completed application form by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 16th January 2009. Successful applicants will be selected by Friday 30th January 2009.
