Neil Gilbert is Chernin Professor of Social Welfare at the School of Social Welfare, University of California at Berkeley, and Co-Director of the Center for Child and Youth Policy and Director of the Center for Comparative Family Welfare and Poverty Research. 

Matthew Diller is Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Fordham University.

Fred D'Agostino is Director of Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Director of the Contemporary Studies Program at the University of Queensland, where he is Professor of Humanities.

Carole Pateman is Professor of Political Science at the University of California at Los Angeles.
