Neil Gilbert

Neil Gilbert
Neil Gilbert is Chernin Professor of Social Welfare at the School of Social Welfare, University of California at Berkeley, and Co-Director of the Center for Child and Youth Policy and Director of the Center for Comparative Family Welfare and Poverty Research. He was the Founding Director of the Family Welfare Research Group.

Dr Gilbert has published thirty books and over 100 artciles, his most recent being Transformation of the Welfare State by Oxford University Press.
