The Centre for Socio-Legal Studies

The Centre for Socio-Legal Studies is a research institute dedicated to the study of law in its social context. The Centre places emphasis on both empirical research and the development of the theoretical framework for that research.

It has pioneered the study of law in society in the United Kingdom and continues to be a leading research institute of world renown for the better understanding of law in its wider setting.

Wolfson College 
Wolfson College is a large graduate college of the University of Oxford. Its students, all postgraduates, study for higher degrees in the University. Its buildings are modern, and purpose-built for a graduate community. At present it consists of some sixty governing body fellows, thirty research fellows, forty junior research fellows and about 450 graduate students.
