Charles Clarke Joins Oxford Debate on the Role of Courts in a Democracy

The former Home Secretary Charles Clarke will appear on a select panel to debate the proper role of courts in a democracy, in an event organized by the Foundation for Law, Justice and Society (FLJS) in association with the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at Oxford University. The debate, to be held at Magdalen College, Oxford on 11th February, will be chaired by the BBC Presenter and renowned Legal Commentator Joshua Rozenberg, and will also feature Lord Justice Jacob, as well as Richard Bellamy, Professor of Political Science at UCL, and a selection of cross-examiners.
